POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain to lead our organization’s operational and supply chain functions. This senior executive will be responsible for driving strategic leadership, overseeing operations management, managing global supply chains, and enhancing profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in these areas and possess a deep understanding of the complexities of global supply chains and operations. This role is based in Berlin.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in operations and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Global experience: Proven experience managing global supply chain operations and working with international teams and suppliers, with a footprint in manufacturing and distribution across Asia, Europe and America.
  • Leadership skills: Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of driving organizational change and performance.
  • Strategic mindset: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop and execute long-term plans.
  • Financial acumen: Solid understanding of financial management principles and a track record of managing budgets and improving profitability.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
