WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Track record of success in operational leadership roles (coo, vp ops, director ops) managing both large and small teams, in high performance, pressure, and profit environments

  • Previous experience partnering with founders, CEOs, and business visionaries to develop ideas and transform them into profitable enterprises, alongside direct entrepreneurial or P&L responsibility for the overall financial success of a business, division, or subsidiary.

  • Extensive experience in steric planning both participating and leading.
  • 5+ year experience working for a visionary entrepreneur driven company and understanding how to lead within it, demonstrated success with minimum 2 years of founder interactions - driving human capital strategy and aligning it with business strategy and needs
  • A list of senior references that you have reported to that describe you as this job description.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience, specifically defining human capital strategy and organizational charts, filling those roles in funds and a variety of businesses / teams across industries simultaneously

  • Utilizing a tight existing framework, Map annual talent strategy on a business by business basis and lead execution of talent acquisition on time and on budget
  • Maintain and expand a talent team to keep up with hire needs including data, talent acquisition and optimizing intelligence agents we utilize in process.
  • Maintain rigorous precision in the talent function, leading by data, and employing tools like Gantt charts, budgets, score cards and detailed timelines to ensure structured and organized work streams.
  • Manage and own the time-to-hire plan for each role, ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner.
  • Manage the talent acquisition in a virtual environment, including organizing watchlist recordings, gathering feedback and generally driving the candidate review and decision making process with leadership, ensuring a streamlined and efficient hiring workflow.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

In this crucial role to support our rapid growth, you will collaborate closely with our visionary leadership team to refine and expand the talent acquisition strategies across our extensive portfolio of owned and invested companies. Reporting directly to the Operating Partner and working in close concert with our founder, you will oversee the recruitment spectrum that includes entry-level positions all the way up to executive roles, including CEO. You are tasked with partnering with senior leadership to strategically define and implement the human capital strategy, shaping the organizational structure for both the investment fund and its operational businesses.
You will oversee, lead and optimize a multi business talent function as an operational function and process. This is not a HR role but an operation leadership role including timelines, project plans, data and analytics, software, and strategy. You will be involved in creating business and talent strategy and identifying and locating ideal people across a wide variety of environments to serve in a wide variety of roles. In this mission you will assist the CEO and COO in organizing the strategic planning sessions and execute operations according to a tightly mapped talent process including significant use of AI for screening, optimization and reporting. Managing a team of live and virtual recruiters, you will ensure activities follow processes, are optimized for results and ensure end outputs match strategic and financial objectives of the business. Most importantly, you will bring “whatever it takes” commitment to getting the right people, to the right place on time and on budget.
To accomplish this mission you will operate hands on but manage and lead a team, to drive talent acquisition objectives and reporting.
