We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Project Implementation Manager – Regulatory Change to join our BNY Investments Distribution project team, sitting within the Product and Client Delivery department. This role is located in London or Luxembourg

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

Deliver/Lead regulatory change implementations impacting BNY Investments: Distribution’s regulated entities (UK ACD, Luxembourg Management companies and funds).
Support and partner with other project delivery team members to maximize efficiency in key tasks of capturing, prioritizing, resourcing and delivering regulatory and business strategic projects.
Work with stakeholders in the business to consider regulatory changes / industry guidance / regulatory publication updates, coordinating gap analyses, recommendations.
Apply governance and oversight frameworks that enable understanding of regulatory obligations, mitigation of regulatory risks, and compliance with applicable regulations. This governance should also broadly apply to business-led, non-regulatory projects where business benefits, costs and impact are to be captured.
Project manage the implementation of regulatory and business change. Defining scope, resources and expected business outcomes, together with detailed project plans, associated governance and stakeholder communications.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:

Investment management experience, ideally including delivering change within investment management (UCITS and AIF (Alternative Investment Fund) structures and UK, Luxembourg management companies).
Experience and comfort in the enhanced process and rigor needed for regulatory change implementations, a track record for supporting complex change programs across a global organization, the ability to effectively analyze and document requirements, and translate them into practical solutions.
Strong organization, time and project management skills.
Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactive and adaptable – able to identify and resolve issues and prescribe the correct solution.
Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills demonstrated by an ability to credibly liaise with senior management as well as developing good working relationships with peer group colleagues.
Proven experience delivering regulatory change projects in a Project Management capacity.
Ability to work effectively in matrix structure and to leverage the input / engagement of colleagues in other departments.
Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) to accurately translate across the business.
Willingness and flexibility to meet tight deadlines, and high level of emotional intelligence to create deliverables that deliver a joined voice of all partners.
