Responsibilities:
THIS ROLE REQUIRES THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO RELOCATE TO BERMUDA. ALL RELOCATION COSTS WILL BE COVERED BY THE CLIENT.
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a VP, Senior Private Banker to drive business development and sales efforts. Working closely with the Head of Private Banking, the role focuses on growing the division and solidifying leadership. The incumbent will manage a high-value portfolio of HNW clients, source new opportunities, increase assets under management, and elevate the brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expand and manage a portfolio of HNW clients with tailored wealth management, trust services, and private banking solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies for client acquisition, revenue growth, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Foster relationships with other banking units to maximize collaboration and client service.
- Achieve sales targets while maintaining strong client satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to foster long-term client loyalty.
- Represent the bank at key business and community events to strengthen client relationships and visibility.
- Support client transactional needs, including account management and compliance with KYC/AML regulations.
- Participate in developing innovative banking products and services.
- Promote a client-focused culture within the Private Banking team.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Lead process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and streamline client interactions.
- Partner with risk and compliance teams to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Prepare reports and updates for monthly performance reviews.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned to support the Private Banking division’s success.
