    A Marble & Granite Company is looking for a mature candidate with 7 years’ experience to fulfill the duties of a wage payroll administrator:

    Position Wage / Payroll Administrator
    Employment Type Part time
    Requirements As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing employee payroll data. Your primary duties will include calculating wages, preparing payroll checks, processing direct deposits, and ensuring timely payments to employees. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining payroll records, including deductions, bonuses, and other relevant information. Attention to detail and confidentiality are crucial in this role, as you will handle sensitive financial information. You will also assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee inquiries regarding their pay.
    Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime hours accurately based on employee timesheets or attendance records.
    Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring all payments are made on time.
    Maintain accurate records of employee information, including tax withholding forms, benefits, and deductions.
    Process adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and retroactive pay.
    Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy.
    Address payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
    Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments to payroll procedures.
    Assist in generating payroll reports for management as needed.
    Proven experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar role.
    Proficiency in SAGE payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
    Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    Problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
