As a Waiter at The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, a Belmond Train you are part of a team that team that shapes the culinary experience of our guests. REQUIREMENTS

  • Few years’ experience in hotels or restaurants in comparable position
  • Experience in dealing with international customers
  • A commitment to creating exceptional culinary experiences that align with the prestigious reputation of the Belmond brand.
  • Travelling extensively across Europe
  • European or Swiss passport
  • Fluency in English and preferably French, a basic comprehension of Italian a plus

Classic one-night journeys glide between Paris and Venice, while additional routes take in Amsterdam, Brussels, Budapest, Florence, Geneva, Istanbul, Prague, Rome, Cannes, Verona and Vienna.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional and personalized service
  • Take responsibility for a designated workstation or section as assigned by the Leading Waiter or Head Waiter, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Carry out all instructions from the Head Waiter and Leading Waiter accurately and promptly
  • Attend to guests’ needs in a timely and attentive manner, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded
