Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waiting List Administrator to join and support the Cardiology and Respiratory service lines.
We wish to appoint an efficient and committed Waiting List Administrator to provide validation support to the Cardiology and Respiratory service lines under the direction of the Waiting List Manager. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who fits with our ethos of continual improvement and delivery of the highest quality patient-centred care.
The successful applicant with receive induction and training appropriate to the activities he or she will undertake.

We provide acute hospital services from two large district general hospitals, Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Maternity Services are also provided at Stroud Maternity Hospital. - To understand pathways and be able to link up 18-week activity within the pathway.
- To be able to ensure Trakcare entries reflect the 18-week pathway activities.
- To develop a good understanding of diagnostic and non-diagnostic procedures and to ensure that the correct waiting list and inpatient treatment status have been inputted onto Trakcare.
- To understand the validation process for breached and prospective patients, and to use this process to validate patients’ 18-week pathway.
- Validate 18-week pathways to ensure weekly 18-week position and Patient Tracking Lists are accurate.
- Review clinical information in order to ensure that the patients’ 18-week pathway accurately reflects information recorded.
- To be aware of and follow the Trust Policy on keeping personal data secure.
- To comply with the Trust’s Elective Access Policy, and actively encourage compliance from others.
