Description:
TE KŌWHIRINGA | THE OPPORTUNITY
The purpose of the Ward Ambassador is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our patients whilst in hospital
The Ward Ambassador is responsible efficiently taking a patients meal choice, using the buckeye PDA system. In addition to these hot drinks and eats are to be offered to all patients as well as any specific dietary requirement standard on to the menu collator
- There is also the requirement to record meal temperatures in accordance with the food safety program in conjunction to helping on tray line
- Monthly Patient surveys to be done and handed in, in time
- Keeping food service trolleys clean
- Dishing up of MOW / Police meals when needed
- Assisting in the kitchen
- Any other reasonable request
NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS
- Good understanding delivery of English
- High level of customer service
