Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Catering Supervisor to lead the service to patients at ward level. This is a full time role, 5 over 7 days including weekends
Some of the duties include
- Provide first line team liaison, monitoring, and supervision
- Ensure the highest possible hygiene standards within the department and Catering Assistant team in compliance with food safety legislation and HACCP
- Ensure the highest possible quality driven customer and patient centred standards within the Catering Assistant Team
- To mentor their work colleagues and work proactively as part of the Catering Team
- To attend and engage with departmental meetings
- To participate in training / refresher training as and when required
- To deal in a courteous and responsible manner with any complaints that may arise in the course of your duties reporting all incidents to departmental management.
The ideal candidate will have
- Background in Catering / Food Service
- Experience working in a Hospital or Healthcare setting
- HACCP/Food Safety training e
- Experience working in a team based environment
Garda Vetting is a requirement of this employment.
