Description:
FIXED TERM POST ONLY : 18 MONTHS
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and organized person to join our team of Ward Clerks . This is a key role as you will be the first point of contact greeting families and visitors on our Day Assessment Unit or our Antenatal/Postnatal Wards and assisting them with their enquiries.
You should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Mathematics and English with level 2 ICT or admin qualification. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a busy environment with lots of competing demands. Previous experience of working in the NHS would be an advantage but is not essential.
Our Day Assessment Unit are looking for a full time ward clerk working 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. Our Inpatient Ward Clerk team cover shifts via a 4-week roster. Inpatient Wards have a position available for a ward clerk 37.5 hours per week, covering either short or long day working patterns.
