About the role
The Gibson Unit – is a Palliative/Oncology/Medical Ward. Includes inpatient unit and a vibrant day infusion unit; that provides a variety of treatments and procedures.
Join a passionate, welcoming and dedicated team. Providing the most excellent care to patients who are often in a most vulnerable time in their lives.
We are looking for a permanent part time Ward Clerk - 24 hours/fortnight working Thursday and Friday.

Ability to communicate/liaise with professional staff at all levels.
Administrative and Clerical experience with excellent computer skills.
High quality patient/ customer focused reception skills.
About you;
Experience in an administrative position such as ward clerk.
Well-developed communication skills including professional telephone technique.
Accurate keyboard skills and sound administrative skills
IT literacy of basic systems (i.e.: Microsoft word, Excel)
An understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality.
Flexibility and reliability.
Professional presentation
Desirable
Experience with iPM or similar patient administration system
Experience with Health Fund Certificates and Acute Care Certificates
Experience with staff rostering systems
