REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• ccording to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.

We are a busy Cardiology and Cardiothoracic unit within Wollongong Private Hospital. It consists of 24 beds and has high admission and discharge turn over. The role consists of admitting and discharging patients through our systems, organizing patient files and contacting of patients. Collection of cardiothoracic and Cardiology data for the national data bases and working closely with all members of the medical and nursing team.
This unit will undergo expansion in the coming future, therefore the role will potentially increase to full time hours.

We require the services of a ward clerk for its day to day running.

• Admitting of patients on to MediTech, collection and collation of data for the cardiothoracic service and the organizing of patient files.
• Admission and discharge processes to ensure appropriate bed management and utilisation.
• Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the ward
• Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.
• Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients, and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.
• Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes, as well as contacting patient pre and postoperatively for admission times and database completion.
