Description:
An exciting new post has arisen within the Maternity administration team, as an Inpatient Ward Clerk.
You will be part of the Maternity administrative team, providing effective and efficient clerical and reception support.
You will be working closely with the midwives team and expected to be well organised. The post holder will work within the several Inpatient Wards and Departments.
If you have the ability to multi-task in an administration role, with a flexible “can-do” attitude to work and can see yourself as part of a busy multidisciplinary team, then we would like to hear from you.
- Book Antenatal Midwifery appointments, C-sections and Induction Labour on Cerner appointment book
- Check in/out patients for the appointments taken place on the day, including cancelling or rescheduling appointments as appropriate
- Patient referrals- booking appointments for patients on the day that it has been requested for
- To take general calls from patients whenever appropriate, and signpost them to the right person/direction if required
