Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Royal United Hospital. We are a dynamic and progressive department that places patient cantered care at the core of its ethos.
Our new state of the art ICU is currently being built and we are due to move in later this year. Located on the first floor, our purpose-built ICU, boasts high-spec equipment with pendants and has large amounts of natural light. It contains four single-occupancy side rooms and six two-bedded bays, as well as two nurses’ stations, offices, seminar/simulation suite and staff facilities. It also contains a bespoke family room, providing a better experience for loved ones and visitors.
Every year, we treat over 800 patients, with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. The unit is run jointly by an experienced group of specialist doctors and nurses, supported by therapists, technicians and support staff.
If you would like to join our supportive and dynamic team we have a full time Unit Clerk role vacant.
