We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Warehouse Analyst to join our team. The Warehouse Analyst will be responsible for analysing data and processes within the warehouse, focusing on optimizing logistics operations, inventory control, and providing strategic insights for decision-making. The professional will ensure data accuracy and compliance with performance indicators, as well as ensuring that necessary materials are efficiently provided to the production team.

As a Warehouse Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Inventory Analysis:

Analyse inventory levels and propose adjustments based on production demands, material consumption, and forecasts of future needs. Generate detailed reports to ensure that stock levels are aligned with the production schedule.

  • Receiving and Shipping Analysis:

Monitor and analyse the processes of receiving materials and shipping them to production, assessing process efficiency and identifying improvements to optimize the flow of materials to production.

  • Inventory Audits:

Conduct periodic inventory audits and analyses, identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions. Ensure that the system data is accurate and that critical materials for production are maintained at optimal levels.

  • Management Reporting:

Develop and deliver analytical reports on key warehouse performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory accuracy, process lead times, and material movement, to ensure production has the necessary materials on time.

  • Capacity and Space Utilization Study:

Analyse the use of storage space and inventory capacity, proposing solutions for better organization and resource use, without compromising the efficiency of material delivery to production.

  • Process Optimization:

Perform detailed analyses of internal processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize the delivery of materials to production.

  • Production Demand Forecasting:

Collaborate with the Production and Purchasing departments to analyze demand forecasts and align inventory management with production needs, ensuring materials are always available according to the production plan.

  • Compliance with Procedures and Regulations:

Analyze and ensure that operations and processes comply with safety policies, regulatory standards, and internal company protocols, focusing on safety and efficiency in supplying materials to production.

Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have proven years of experience in inventory management, reporting, trend analysis, and dashboard creation.
  • Be proficient in inventory management software and data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Have proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Have proven experience in creating and maintaining inventory reports, analyzing data, and presenting findings to management.
  • Have experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
  • Have proven knowledge of inventory control processes, supply chain management, and forecasting techniques.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, WMS or similar.
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Have proven experience in dashboard creation and visualization of data for tracking inventory performance and KPIs.
  • Be able to work independently and in a team environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
