Position Type: Full-Time (Temporary role supporting the ALDI Divisional Warehouse Office with Warehouse Administrative Assistant responsibilities)
Starting Wage: $23.00 per hour
Work Location: O’Fallon,
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 2 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 2 days per week; work in-office at least 3 days per week).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
  • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work is performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Provides administrative support to leadership and assists with hiring related activities.
  • Cooperates and interacts effectively through ongoing communication and exchange of relevant information with leaders, co-workers, District Managers, store and warehouse employees.
  • Works cooperatively with contract haulers, suppliers, and service companies to maintain a successful partnership.
  • Creates reports as required to provide information for management decision making.
  • Maintains accurate store truck schedules, tour plans, and order due times, as required, in applicable programs.
  • Works proactively to identify, investigate, and report irregularities within designated area of responsibility.
  • Conducts training and cross training of knowledge and expertise within area of responsibility.
  • Assists team with additional responsibilities, as designated by the leader, to ensure proper coverage.
  • Maintains an efficient and well-organized filing system for the department and ensures items are archived and disposed of per company guidelines.
  • Communicates with internal and external auditors as necessary.
  • Provides general office and administrative support deemed necessary by divisional management.
  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
  • Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
