Description:
Goonite (NG) Hygiene Product FZE is a fast-growing manufacturing and distribution company known for its premium brands: Lebrace Diapers and Besense Sanitary Pads located in Lekki axis.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Warehouse Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse duties.
- This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of HND / Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, business administration, or management related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the FMCG industry, preferably within the Manufacturing sector.
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must be residents of Ibeju-Lekki.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments. Ensure that all items are accurately documented and stored properly.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company guidelines. Verify that all items are correct and in good condition before dispatch.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and receipts. Use warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
- Stock Maintenance: Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies or low stock levels. Help maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces.
- Shipping and Receiving: Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials and products. Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to coordinate and streamline warehouse operations.
