Responsibilities:
BUSINESS ROLE
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you should be able to lift and carry heavy loads, separate shipments into different categories and maintain individual boxes of the same.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cross-checking the merchandise for damages
- Verifying merchandise details
- Checking and arranging for warehouse space
- Assisting with loading and unloading of goods
- Arranging hand carts for moving and stocking merchandise
- Categorising merchandise in different boxes and containers
- Picking & packing using appropriate labels & correct shipment details
- Ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and safe at all times
