Description:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, including put-aways, warehouse organization, inventory replenishment, conducting inventory counts, order assembly, shipping, and receiving. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory and efficient warehouse practices, supporting overall supply chain processes.
YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus but not required.
- Forklift certification is preferred but can be obtained on the job.
YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training and certification provided if necessary).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company protocols.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including coolers and freezers.
- May be required to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required, depending on the volume of work.
HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow OSHA guidelines and report any workplace incidents or near misses immediately.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certifications as required by the company.

Responsibilities:
- Perform put-aways to ensure products are stored in their designated locations and properly organized.
- Maintain warehouse organization, ensuring a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
- Replenish inventory as needed, making sure product levels are maintained for daily operations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to support inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipping.
- Assist with the shipping process, preparing and packaging orders for shipment.
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying item counts, and ensuring that goods are received in proper condition.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to fulfill daily tasks and meet company goals.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (if certified) to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with warehouse protocols.
