WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 5+ years experience in warehouse and logistic
  • Previous experience with ERP / WMS system
  • Customer focus, creative problem solver, and a desire to win
  • Experience with lean manufacture and warehouse improvements
  • Professional demeanor

Responsibilities:

The warehouse specialist shall ensure efficiency in the warehouse, by organization and safety environment. The Warehouse Specialist will also ensure shipping and receiving activities are executed timely and safely as required by the rest of the operation. These duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Being part of the team of warehouse efficiency project from conception to completion
  • Create and oversee schedules and specifications
  • Review the work progress on daily basis
  • Calling in shipments for pickup
  • Applying proper shipping documentation (waybill, packing slip, etc)
  • Logistics for national and international shipments
  • Inspection of goods prior to shipment
  • Inspection and count of materials received against vendor and customer packing slips
  • Inspect the quality of materials received and on the shelf. Report defects
  • Provide appropriate paperwork to Team Leader for processing
  • Reporting discrepancies in documentation to the Team Leader
  • Follow ASC procedures for picking orders from inventory
  • Recording discrepancies in inventory to pick requests for consolidation
  • Fulfill pick requests coming from the Team Leader
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels for stock items and notifying the Team Leader
  • Periodic cleaning and upkeep of the facility areas designated as warehouse
  • Perform maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and tools
  • Complete safety inspections as required
  • Prepare bases and other items required by the shop or warehouse
  • Be able to organize the warehouse basis on ITO classification
  • Create a strategy and be in charge of the cycle count inventory and ERP update
  • Support in the continuous improvements project to increase warehouse efficiency
