Warehouse Associate

In the role of Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including shipping & receiving, heavy lifting, and order picking. The ability to safely operate a forklift is a requirement along with a valid or recently expired Forklift Certification. Your core skills in heavy lifting and order picking will be essential for efficiently handling inventory. With relevant skills in packaging, order fulfillment, and load & unload, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products
- Prepare orders accurately for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and organizing
- Assist in double checking orders for other team members to ensure accuracy
- Operate equipment such as forklifts & pallet jacks to move materials
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy boxes of flooring
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
Experience/Requirements:
- Forklift Experience – Valid or recently expired certificate
- Previous experience in a warehouse role preferred
- Proficient in shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
