WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE - FIXED TERM

Wesco Anixter have an outstanding career opportunity for a highly motivated team player as a Warehouse Associate based from our Seven Hills location, with the occasional need to work from our Waterloo warehouse. This role is a fixed-term contract with an initial period of 12 months.
In this role you will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for

  • Picking, packaging and dispatching orders
  • Receiving stock, purchase orders and processing delivery dockets
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Offloading and loading pallets
  • Counting and checking stock to ensure quality control and solving stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure safe warehouse operations, especially regarding forklift use.
  • Liaise with couriers related to orders and deliveries.
  • General maintenance and upkeep of the warehouseCustomer contact for orders and ETAs

  • Current Forklift license is essential.

  • Intermediate PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Physical capabilities to lift and move heavy boxes.Previous experience in a similar role or electronic retail industry is beneficial
