Description:

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a warehouse associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. We value individuals who are proactive, can work well both independently and as part of a team, and are able to follow safety procedures. Experience with inventory management systems and the operation of warehouse equipment like forklifts is required. Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Goods:
  • Unloading shipments and verifying the accuracy of incoming products.
  • Checking products for damages or discrepancies and reporting issues.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Organizing products in the warehouse according to inventory systems.
  • Performing regular stock counts and assisting in inventory audits.
  • Updating inventory records using warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Order Fulfillment:
  • Picking, packing, and labeling orders for shipment.
  • Preparing items for delivery by wrapping, boxing, and securing goods for transportation.
  • Ensuring orders are completed accurately and timely.
  • Shipping & Dispatching:
  • Loading products onto trucks or containers for delivery.
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed for shipping.
  • Safety & Cleanliness:
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Ensuring safety guidelines are followed, including the proper use of equipment.
  • Reporting hazards and safety concerns.
  • Material Handling:
  • Operating forklifts or pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse.
  • Assisting with storing goods in designated locations.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Working with other warehouse associates, managers, and supervisors to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
  • Communicating effectively with team members regarding tasks and deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior warehouse or logistics experience is Required.
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Dynamics or similar software.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (typically 30-50 lbs or more).
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Physical demands may include standing for long periods, lifting, and bending.
  • Exposed to outdoor elements while loading/unloading trailers.
