Warehouse Associate

Role Profile:
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for maintaining and aiding with the inventory stock status levels, receiving/shipping of stock, sorting and segregating stock, inspecting stock and helping Quality Assurance personnel identify products which need further review/sampling before being accepted for use. This role will also require the candidate to perform cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the day and week to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility.
Role Responsibilities:
- Receiving, sorting, identifying, and labelling incoming stock based on approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Offloading, receiving, and inspecting all inbound materials while identifying any damages.
- Ensuring stock levels stay on par with operational needs.
- Preparing items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and arranging for the transportation of products.
- Assisting Quality Assurance personnel identify products which need further review or sampling.
- Maintaining and organizing an effective inventory flow of products in the warehouse.
- Cross-functional and departmental communication regarding all incoming and outgoing inventory and stock.
- Moving materials within the warehouse or storage facility using material handling equipment (e.g. Forklift).
- Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Conducting daily and weekly cleaning and sanitation duties including but not limited to removing garbage in facility, sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Previous experience in a warehouse and product handling environment.
- Strong ability to perform mathematical functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, use discretion when lifting heavy boxes.
- Organizational skills and time management.
- Energetic and team oriented with the ability to work independently as well as a cohesive team.
