WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Tachus LLC (Tachus) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility by accurately handling and organizing incoming and outgoing products. This role involves tasks ranging from receiving and inspecting shipments to picking, packing, and shipping orders efficiently. The ideal candidate should be reliable, physically capable, and possess excellent organizational skills.

Key Functions:
As a Warehouse Associate, your key functions will include efficiently receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments. You will accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring timely and accurate shipment. Collaborating with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse space will also be crucial. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the smooth operation of our distribution process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and documentation.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and performing inventory calculations.
Knowledge of proper safety procedures when operating warehouse equipment (if applicable).
Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and tasks as required.
Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Positive attitude
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical activities include, but are not limited toclimbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking,
and pushing, pulling and lifting up to 80 pounds. Responsibilities:

Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents against shipping manifests, and inspect for damages ordiscrepancies.
Accurately input data related to received products into the inventory management system.
Organize and properly store incoming products in designated warehouse areas.
Retrieve products from shelves or storage areas based on order requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Pack orders carefully and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damages during transit.
Prepare shipping labels and documentation, ensuring adherence to shipping and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and within set timelines.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing ofpackaging materials.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (if applicable andcertified).
Assist in regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
Communicate any inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor promptly.
Follow safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
