Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm (plus 1 in 6 Sundays)
Location: Barming, Kent ME20 7PX
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Previous experience of working in Warehouse environment desirable
• Experience of working in a team & ability to work on your own initiative
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules, Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
• Have appropriate hand, eye and foot co-ordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment
• Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations

As a DHL Supply Chain Colleague, you will be playing your part in keeping the world moving by accurately picking and sorting packages for our customers. The key responsibilities in this role include:

• Product quantity and quality checking, labelling, bagging, packing, and despatching as per the customer procedures
• Working in a team environment in a safe manner
• Returns processing and inventory counting as required
• Operating IT-systems and processing paperwork as required
• Operating of Mechanical Handling Equipment for which training will be provided
