POSITION OBJECTIVE: To receive incoming products, return damaged or miss-ordered product. Expedite inbound shipments to the proper department and locations. Working in tandem with other departments to ensure a Great Guest Service Experience both internally and externally. Conduct and/or assist with inventory audits for casino departments.

JOB SUMMARY: Conduct proper receipt, cataloging (documentation) of incoming (non-food) product and services. Ensure all incoming products are correct against invoices. Return/reject incorrect items received. Annotate all OS&D (over, shorts, and damages) and notify appropriate department(s) as required. Responsible for receipt all food products and rejection of food products that do not meet standards. Works with Sous Chefs and Food purchasers to ensure food products meet order quality and food safety requirements. Issues products to appropriate departments and documents issuance for record-keeping. Maintains accountability and control of all issuance areas. Prepares disposal for obsolete and rejected inventory according to casino policies and “green” disposal methods. Notifies purchasing and warehouse management of trends regarding excess or waste of ordered products/food.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret inventory reports and documents
- Knowledge of warehouse material handling equipment operation, to include hand carts, pallet jacks (eclectic and manual), carts and forklifts
- Ability to be certified to operate forklifts and other machinery used for moving and transporting items
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detailed Oriented
- Food Handler’s permit
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and maintain records
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Current knowledge of occupational safety issues

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, and pull as required over entire shift
- May involve intermittent exposure to negative environmental elements such as weather, dirt, dust, fuel fumes, smoke, loud noises
- Requires considerable physical activity; intermittent heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 75 pounds using appropriate equipment and safety techniques

Responsibilities:
- Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.
- Process return shipments.
- Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and updates inventory tracking for material received. Prepares daily receiving reports including all invoices
- Inspects incoming shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages, and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. Receives and unloads incoming materials; ensures accuracy of shipment.
- Delivers items to requisitioning departments or designated storage location.
- Assist Sous Chefs with the inspection of food product to insure quality standard are maintained.
- Transports and retrieves storage items for the casino operations departments as needed.
- Reconciles receiving documents with purchase orders, invoices, or packing slips to identify accuracy of materials received, recording parcel deliveries of orders.
- Perform storage in accordance with FIFO Inventory process
- Maintains and report all shipping and storage documents and records.
- Utilizes inventory-tracking software.
- Operates dolly, pallet jack, forklift, other material-handling equipment in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
- Operates company vehicle to pick up or deliver shipments.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
- Ensures proper care and prudential use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Inspects shipments and notifies supervisor and purchasing department of damages.
- Ensure all entrances to storage areas are accessible by unpacking and dating products in an expedited manner.
- Conduct and/or assist with cyclic/annual/periodic departmental inventory.
- Delivers and stocks items to requisitioning departments.
- Prepares packages and bills of lading for outgoing shipments.
- Preform storage in accordance with FIFO inventory processes and industry accepted practices.
- Assists in routine maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and shipping area. Secures worksite when unattended. Ensure proper storage of all food items as required by health and safety guidelines. Comply with safety and environmental control standards.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain general upkeep of stock rooms and coolers.
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately through COC
- Perform other duties as assigned.
