Description:

SMS Equipment is growing ! We are looking for a Warehouse Clerk ( Shipper / receiver ) to join our team! In this role, you’ll find solutions, make safety a priority, and work with the largest and most advanced jobsite equipment. This role is located in Fredericton.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Computer Literate - MS Office (mainly word, excel and email).
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision and have attention to detail.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess forklift certification or previously held.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

  • Responsible for the receiving, and shipping of all parts, part cores, and any service related shipping functions.
  • Maintain an updated listing for our current inventory, ensuring that bin locations are accurate.
  • Process all packing slips, and any related correspondence in accordance with our current operating policies.
  • Assist the parts counter personnel with the processing of any orders as required, as well as learn the necessary functions of the Extend system to allow this position to cover for the parts position during any absent times.
  • Gradually learn the work order system, as well as warranty system, with the possibility of undertaking these tasks in the future.
  • Maintain the parts department areas in good order; ensure that all areas are kept clean.
  • Work in accordance with all current company safety regulations and report any violations of these regulations to your immediate supervisor.
  • Seek assistance when required to lift any objects that exceed 40 lbs.
  • To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
