COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT DRIVER

Working in partnership with an EMI-Award Winning plastic fabrication company located in HU7 we are recruiting an experience Counterbalance Forklift Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, paid at £13.52 on days and £14.52 on nights with overtime available paid at premium rates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver you will be responsible for carrying out forklift driving duties in a busy warehouse. The role will be 50% forklift driving and 50% warehousing. Day to day you will be expected to;

  • Loading and unloading both manually and using a forklift
  • Ensure stock is safely transported and manoeuvred around the factory as required
  • Correctly record and use materials and ensure correct stock accuracy
  • Carry out all inspections to the relevant schedules, to comply with specifications
  • Be responsible for the completion of all relevant documentation, to comply with ISO standards.
  • To work to Health & Safety procedures and report near misses.
  • To continually improve housekeeping standards, to meet GMP.
