POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse & Delivery Associate is responsible for shipping & receiving in the warehouse, inventory control and scheduling customer deliveries.

Education:

  • High school degree or equivalen

Experience:

  • Prior experience in warehouse operations preferre

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook require

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Duties:

  • Receive product shipments and maintain inventory controls
  • Pick and stage next day deliveries and organize by truck
  • Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse by routinely sweeping, removing trash and keeping materials organized

Delivery Scheduling:

  • Call customers to schedule delivery and installation of product
  • Accurately maintain schedule of deliveries in Outlook and Iridium
  • Print delivery orders to prepare for picking of items in warehouse
  • Close out daily delivery tickets

Delivery & Installation:

  • Will be required to fill in as a Delivery & Installation Technician when necessary to ensure products are delivered as scheduled.
  • Able to build equipment using proper tools and instructions.
  • Able to test and properly present equipment to customers in home.

Maintain Best Work Practices:

  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees, customers, owners and vendors.
  • Understand and follow all safety policies.
  • Punctual: begins work on time and returns from lunch and breaks on time
  • All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately
  • Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers
  • Other projects as assigned
