£30,000 (PRO-RATA FOR HOURS WORKED)

Come and work for the UK’s largest merchandise concession supporting our National Merchandise, Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team and the Panthersland store on Bolero Square.
We are looking for a Warehouse & Ecommerce Supervisor to join our team based at our warehouse in Heanor (DE75 7TA).
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will support the team with product distribution and stock control.
The Warehouse & Ecommerce Supervisor will support the strategic development of sales of Nottingham Panthers merchandise through the management of Panthersland, in game merchandise sales and the online platform.
In addition, the Warehouse & Ecommerce Supervisor will support the National Merchandise team with deliveries, equipment requests and event returns to the Warehouse in Heanor.

Key responsibilities for the Warehouse & Ecommerce Supervisor include:

  • Support the Sales Manager in preparing and managing budgets, both income and expenditure.
  • Undertaking daily cashing up and balancing of tills and banking as required within Panthersland.
  • Liaising with our Finance team to ensure all financial regulations are compiled with by adhering to all National Merchandise procedures.
  • Maintaining and updating the Nottingham Panthers retail website and assisting their social media team with content to promote both their physical and online stores.
  • Ensuring all staff are effectively trained, regularly review their performance and providing training and development where required.
  • Fulfilling all online and postage orders in a timely manner to deliver a high customer service experience.
  • Assuming overall responsibility for all aspects of stock control and stock handling and deliveries whilst working with the Sales Manager regarding future stock requirements.
  • Ensuring the regular feed of new stock into the shop.
  • Ensuring daily and weekly staff rotas are managed to always ensure adequate cover for Panthersland and Panthers merchandise stands.
  • Providing monthly payroll information for all Panthersland and National Merchandise staff to ensure all individuals are paid correctly.
  • Providing admin support, as required, to the Sales Manager in relation to licensing contracts.
  • Providing warehousing support to all National Merchandise Managers as required; accepting deliveries, co-ordinating equipment requests and organising returns from events etc.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience of working within a similar role.
They will have good knowledge of merchandising and stock control and the ability to maintain good stock levels at all times.
They will understand basic retail practices and ideally have experience of the development and upkeep of online and social websites.
With strong communication skills, both written and verbal the ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and financial acumen with previous experience of managing budgets.
A team player with good supervision skills, they will be IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Due to the responsibilities within this role, the successful applicant needs to hold a full valid driving license as well as have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends, often working in excess of their contracted hours.
