Job Summary
Healthcare 21 is currently looking to recruit a Warehouse & Facility Manager to join their Warehouse & Logistics Team. As the Warehouse & Facility Manager you will play an important role in the Healthcare 21 management team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day warehousing and logistics operations and ensuring that customer and business needs are met. You will deliver sustainable end to end supply chain strategies to optimise the performance of the group logistics function and the warehouse facility and ensure products are processed and dispatched to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with all departments and stakeholders, primarily with the Head of Operations to support groupwide operations projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities are not limited to but will include:
Supervision and Leadership
Provide leadership, motivation and guidance to the warehouse operations team and mobility support team, along with the development of the operations strategy to ensure targets are met.
Ability to delegate in line with setting the expectation, assigning responsibility & ensuring responsibility is taken by your team.
Develop KPIs and reporting structures and work with Operations managers across the group to optimise opportunities to improve.
Develop a strong performance culture through employee engagement, talent development and leadership practices.
Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to employees.
Foster a positive and safe working environment.
Operational Efficiency
Ensure the processing of products to the highest quality standards in the safest, most cost effective and efficient manner.
Recognise opportunities for and ensure continuous improvement principles are applied across the warehouses and related processes.
Develop and implement new policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with best practice.
All aspects of warehouse operation, including general housekeeping & maintenance, allocation of material, timely receipting of goods and shipping of finished goods.
Drive achievement of Inbound, Outbound, and stock KPI metrics by setting clear daily/weekly and monthly targets for the Warehouse team.
Oversee the use of the Inventory Control System to maintain full traceability and accountability of the materials, including investigating any variances arising from these.
Monitor returns process materials, and ensure outbound freight is handled in compliance with company policies.
Oversee the assembly and logistics and inventory for the primary care products and manage the mobility support team to ensure operational efficiency inline with company targets and customers needs.
Work across business functions to manage and optimise stock control.
Capacity plan for existing and future products.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse operations procedures.
Optimise warehouse layout and space utilization.
Streamline order fulfilment processes.
Facility Management
Responsible for Facility Management of the Dublin Site.
Manage facility management supplier contract relationship and planned preventative maintenance schedule.
Identifying and manage onsite equipment database utilising internal software.
Implement and manage keyholder policy and emergency notification processes.
Quality Control
Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted to the highest safety standards and in line with Good Distribution Practices.
Responsible for adhering to Medicinal license & cold chain processes.
Ensure that products are stored and handled in accordance with quality standards.
Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and defects.
Collaborate with other departments to address quality issues.
Logistics and Shipping
Oversee the coordination with transportation providers for inbound and outbound shipments.
Oversee the scheduling and monitoring of deliveries and pickups.
Environmental, Safety & Compliance
Be integral in driving Sustainable Business Strategy including but not limited to carbon reduction, waste management and supplier management goals.
Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met.
Ensure the security of the building and stock is maintained.
Ensure that you comply with risk-assessed policies and procedures relating to IT Security, Health and Safety.
Support regular safety training for warehouse staff.
Cost Management
Monitor and control operational costs within the warehouse.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Technology Utilisation
Implement and utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient operations.
Projects
Involvement in key projects across the Company
Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Previous warehouse management experience essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in SAP advantageous.
High motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work on own initiative.
Strong organisational and self-management skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks within a busy environment and to specific time frame.
