POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse/Ground Operations Manager to oversee and manage customs clearance and ground operations for our e-commerce logistics. The successful candidate will ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient customs processing for inbound and outbound shipments while supervising a team dedicated to these operations. This role involves regular communication with customers, resolving shipment issues promptly, and ensuring timely clearances and deliveries to maintain high customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in customs clearance, logistics, or ground operations, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance requirements.
- Experience managing a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities for effective team and customer management.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and operational demands.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with automation systems for customs processing.
- Familiarity with international trade agreements and cross-border e-commerce operations.
