Description:

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Resource Allocation: Organizes and allocates resources and associates to effectively and efficiently meet line production targets. Responds to resource issues in a timely manner.
  • Production Scheduling and Plan: Ensures that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels. Material kit availability should be aligned, & 2 weeks ahead of production schedule. Ensure material inventory accuracy is maintained and Cycle count process executed in each storage location on a timely manner with 98% accuracy.
  • Equipment and Facilities: Identifies and recommends technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary. Manage and maintain good maintenance & inspection processes at the warehouse, including inspection & maintenance of forklift units, delivery vans & the facility itself are safe & in good condition.
  • Production Execution: Ensures execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines. Manage the execution of warehouse, kitting and receiving operations while adhering to production schedule and quality standards.
  • Operations Improvement: Identifies deficiencies in kitting & inventory cycle count processes, proposes improvement activities and oversees implementation of actions to improve production & delivery performance. Track and communicate defined KPI’s through Tier meetings.
  • Critical Line Issues: Manages the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
  • Inventory Tracking: Develop and deploy inventory tracking systems that support the supply chain function.
  • Maintain documentation and generate reports on delivery and shipments that happen within the facility and warehouse to ensure on time delivery, quality and inventory control.
  • Document the inventory movements within the facility and warehouse and report them to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify shortages and bottlenecks in the inventory control tasks and resolve the same through continuous improvement activities & Kaizen events.
  • People Leadership and Development: Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
