Description:

Join the Iberia Team! We are a national food and beverage manufacturer and distributor currently searching for a Warehouse Supervisor for our New England location(s). This is a great opportunity for someone who has been overseeing Shipping & Receiving as well as replenishment and looking to prove themselves by running their own warehouse. This role offers room to grow to move into our larger facilities. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products in our facility. Ultimately the Warehouse Supervisor should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. We are looking for a hands-on working supervisor who can hop on a forklift as needed to help with the team when we are short on staff as well.

Skills:

  • Cycle counting / order checking.
  • Expertise is warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Hands on experience with ability to manually check products before shipment.
  • Familiar with warehouse management software and databases or MS Excel.
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Potential bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
  • Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock reports, etc.)
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
