Description:
JOIN OUR TEAM AS A LINE LEAD BASED AT OUR DISTRIBUTION CENTRE IN TANKERSLEY.
We are looking for hard working individuals that are enthusiastic and enjoy a challenge to join our warehouse team.
You will assist the Operations Supervisor in carrying out the plan for the department and consistently deliver outstanding performance, excellent standards and demonstrate an uncompromising view on the service we ultimately provide to our members.

Responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the team are motivated to deliver the day-to-day performance of the department
- Effectively communicate with and co-ordinate the team of departmental colleagues to consistently deliver an excellent performance outcome
- Ensure standards remain high and continually look for ways to improve
- Ensure that all Food Safety and Health, Safety & Environmental policies are followed, and best practices are upheld, whilst proactively encouraging similar behaviours from your colleagues
- Continuously review waste within your department and seek solutions to reduce wastage where possible
- Actively encourage positive behaviours with colleagues to help improve performance
- Support and assist the Shift Supervisor with attending shift and mid-shift reviews
- Support and assist the Shift Supervisor with daily huddles, ensuring all tasks set are completed efficiently, escalating any issues to the Supervisor
- Recording accidents and near misses
- Any additional departmental tasks as and when required
