Description:

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Maintenance Technician I maintains day to day operations and assumes the responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Manager/Operations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • H.S. diploma/GED preferred General H.S. subjects
  • Two (2) years or more strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs required
  • Other May be required to be equipment certified

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and trouble shooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
  • Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors.
  • Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
  • Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
  • Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
  • Support and participate in lean initiative activities within the warehouse

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
