Description:
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Maintenance Technician I maintains day to day operations and assumes the responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Manager/Operations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
- H.S. diploma/GED preferred General H.S. subjects
- Two (2) years or more strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs required
- Other May be required to be equipment certified

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and trouble shooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
- Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
- Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors.
- Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
- Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
- Support and participate in lean initiative activities within the warehouse
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues
- Performs other duties as assigned.
