AES is seeking Warehouse Manager for our Tenaha, TX facility. This position reports directly to Senior Management and is critical to our Oklahoma operations and must be committed to providing exceptional service to our customers and leaders. The position is responsible for all operations, the effective management of warehouse employees, customer and public relations, inventory, equipment, supplies, safety and all other warehouse activities and needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Management, or other relevant degree is a plus.
- At least five (5) years of prior work experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management, with at least one (3) years of highly-responsible supervisory experience.
- Forklift operation certification is essential.
- Extensive working knowledge of the oilfield services industry is essential with a preference in the Drilling Fluids sector.
- Valid driver’s license and the maintenance of a driving record satisfactory to AES.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (including strong Microsoft Excel skills) and Outlook and internet research skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse personnel, including involvement in recruitment, supervision, effectively scheduling work, development, training and coaching, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
- Responsible for accurate account of inventory, correct calculation of mud volumes in storage tanks and inventory reports to the Operations Manager on a daily basis.
- Determine appropriate work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
- Responsible for the timely delivery of all products ordered from the manager’s warehouse location.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and smoothly operating facility.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the entire facility and all inventory.
- Ensure that all warehouse personnel adhere to safety, hazmat, DOT, and all other Company procedures, programs, policies and applicable law.
- Ensure that all warehouse equipment and machinery is maintained in a safe and working condition and that employees are properly trained to safely utilize equipment and machinery.
- Manage the resolution of all customer complaints, questions, or inquiries to the warehouse.
- Ensure that delivery and credit tickets are processed in a timely manner.
- Support and participate in AES’s continual improvement program in conformity with ISO requirements to comply with quality policies and procedures and meet QMS objectives.
- Handle special projects and performs all other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
