Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall performance warehouse operations
  • Establish KPI’s for purposes of managing this performance
  • Manage external warehouse suppliers while managing internal stakeholders as well
  • Determine and harmonize working procedures between Customer Service, Planning and Logistics Hub
  • Act as single point of contact for matters related to warehouse performance and cost
  • Lead effort in network optimization in close collaboration between Procurement, Logistics, Planning and Marketing and Sales
  • Work with sites & sales to optimize inventory footprint / working capital
  • Act as lead representative for outsourcing projects or new initiatives
  • Create central reporting regarding warehouse performance and cost
  • Support in optimizing transport to and from warehouse locations

We believe you bring

  • Bachelor degree in preferably Logistics, Supply Chain or Business
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with SAP, WMS and TMS
  • Experience with solution design
  • Experience with storage of DG; Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Handling, Packed & Liquids
  • Experience with LEAN, Network Design projects
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and preferably German
