Then you are the one we are looking for at Essity for the position of Warehouse Manager for our Distribution Centre (IDC) in Lilla Edet!
Essity Lilla Edet Mill is the world’s second largest supplier of consumer tissue (Lotus, Saba, Tempo, Tork) with an annual capacity of approx. 100,000 tons of paper. Lilla Edet, with approximately 400 employees, has a 140-year history and is described by the employees as a familiar and pleasant workplace where they also focus on continuous improvement. The mill consists of several production stages: recycled fibre handling, steam plant, pulp preparation, paper production, conversion, logistics and several support functions.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Distribution Centre (IDC) is responsible for our supply chain of raw materials from our suppliers to production through to our finished products from our production to our customers.
We are now seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the IDC Warehouse and Store department.
In this role, you will lead and develop the supply chain for the incoming raw & packaging material and the internal logistics. You will have staff responsibility for about 10 employees. In the role, you will have a very wide network of contacts both internally and externally.
You will be part of the logistics management team and report to the Factory Logistics Manager.
Your primary focus will be on developing and improving KPIs such as stock level and service level, while continuously improving warehouse activities and balancing cost and capacity with both internal and external shareholders. You will also initiate and improve activities within the supply chain and support and implement changes in processes to optimize warehouse efficiency.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
- Be a role model for Safety.
- Ensure a cost-effective warehouse operation.
- Set clear goals for the business and work with active follow-up of these.
- Ensure the correct deliveries to the production lines, with no delays and accurate quality.
- Continuously improve the warehouse activities, which includes optimisation projects.
- Actively collaborate with the production & l planning team, Production Departments and other department managers.
- Have overall operational responsibility for optimisation of our warehouse and store.
- Responsible for relationship internal logistics partners, external partners.
