Description:
Master Meter is a leading manufacturer of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) products for the water utility industry. For over 40 years Master Meter has provided water utilities with the products and services required to maximize revenue, optimize operations, and deliver world class customer support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration or 5+ years’ Warehouse Manager experience strongly preferred. At least 5 years’ warehouse experience and 5 years’ supervisor experience required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills both written, verbal, and telephone skills (in English) demonstrating an empathetic approach to dealing with customers. Spanish language skills beneficial, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills, leadership abilities and supervisory skills and techniques.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated positive “can do/professional” attitude (quick learner, hands on, etc.).
- Able to frequently bend and occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable and effective at presenting to/training small to medium-sized groups when required.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, honest and able to move at the required pace without direct supervision
- Steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required.
- Able to work overtime daily and on weekends when required.

Responsibilities:
- Inventory management: Oversee inventory receiving, storage, distribution, shipping.
- Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization and stock rotation.
- Coordinate shipments by planning and managing the dispatch of goods.
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, supervising, evaluating, and scheduling hours and workload.
- Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
- Train and certify forklift operators.
- Implement operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Ensure safety of staff.
- Plan future capacity requirements.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators and reports.
- Other tasks as assigned.
