Description:

SKILLS:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with good business acumen
  • Solid communication skills both verbal in written
  • Experience with computers including emails, MS Office and inventory management systems
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation and inventory control processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience, with 2+ years in a management capacity
  • Experience in industry with a service and installation or distribution company, preferably in a construction environment

Responsibilities:

ROLE:

We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Manager located in the Calgary branch. This position will be responsible to lead and manage all warehouse operations including inventory control, handling and storage of tools and equipment at the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to lead, develop and manage the Warehouse resources
  • Identify, monitor and manage customer service standards, including timeliness and professionalism
  • Recommend and implement necessary action to improve revenue generation and profitability within the department
  • Ensure effective dispatching of technicians, timely completion of work orders and accuracy and timeliness of billing process
  • Proactively support the CDS safety program and initiatives, comply with all safety policies and procedures (including customer site specific programs), and ensure utilization of safe work practices in the warehouse and office
  • Ensure workmanship adheres to CDS quality standards, and identify and implement improvements to standards as appropriate
  • Maintain positive customer relationships, for CDS, in collaboration with the local Branch Manager and sales team
  • Maintain a positive attitude and communication style with customers and employees in all circumstances
  • Other duties, as assigned
