Description:

Responsible and accountable for the following tasks:

  • Achieving operational financial performance of trucks & reviewing reports in overall operations management.
  • Interacting with customers and external parties for good business rapport.
  • Conduct daily/monthly meetings with operations executives & staff on operations updates.
  • Ensuring trucks requirements are adequate for customers’ requirements.
  • Implementation of transport policies and procedures are adhered to by drivers.
  • Carry out 6 monthly performance reviews of all direct reports within the department as requested by the HR Dept.
  • Monitor on truck repair and maintenance.
  • Monitor staff performance and attendances.
  • Manage and resolve all staff disciplinary matters.
  • Guide and motivate executives, supervisors & coordinators achieve set objectives and ensure optimum staff training and development of all operational staff.
  • Overseeing the day to day operations of transportation activities.
  • Identifying and grooming of potential leaders for future business continuity plan.
  • Maintain high staff moral and staff training to ensure skill transfer to executives and team leaders downwards.
  • Ensure KPI objectives are met internally & externally.
  • Ensure the KPI objectives for LTI and Zero Harm are met.
  • Maintenance and up keeping of fleet availability & to uphold the professional image of the fleet.
  • Conduct SOP checks on guidelines already set.
  • Any other tasks related to operations requirement.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
