Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and results-driven Warehouse Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and logistical expertise to tighten up our warehouse operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. This role is critical in transforming our warehouse into a well-oiled machine by implementing process improvements and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency’s.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management software (WMS) and inventory control systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

Operational Efficiency: Streamline warehouse processes, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods to improve overall efficiency and accuracy.
Inventory Management: Oversee stock control and inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely stock takes, and reducing shrinkage.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Logistical Oversight: Optimise inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with suppliers and transport teams to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to and that the warehouse operates in a clean, organised, and safe manner.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement new procedures and technologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics like order accuracy, inventory turnover, and shipping/delivery performance.
Vendor & Stakeholder Relationships: Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to improve communication and streamline the supply chain process.
