REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role, preferably within the food service.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and health and safety regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for overseeing the activities of your shift, managing a team of warehouse operatives, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a hands-on approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring all staff are trained, motivated, and working effectively.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse shift, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate and timely planning is done Daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Investigate all customer complaints and resolve internally/externally as required with relevant managers.
  • Oversee daily control of all aspects of site hygiene.
  • Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accuracy in inventory control and timely replenishment of supplies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow throughout the supply chain.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that arise during your shift.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the warehouse.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on shift performance, including productivity, efficiency, and any incidents.
