Warehouse Operations Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support and oversee all warehouse activities for the company.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to the Warehouse to Retail Outlets.
• Maintain clear & accurate inventory records of the Confectionery Goods in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as sales team, to prepare necessary documentation as required by them to meet business objectives and customer needs.
• Prepares necessary documents such as delivery orders (DO) and ensures that the inventory system is updated accordingly.
• Managing perishable food inventory levels, procurement, and logistics to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize food wastage.
• Assist warehouse manager in regular stock take activities and monitor the shelf-life dates of Food Confectionery Products.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products comply with local and regional food safety and labeling regulations.
• Assists in annual internal audit and external audit support tasks.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Possess a Good University Degree from a recognized academic institution.
• Ideally, possess 2 to 3 years of relevant / related work experience in the Food industry, preferably in the Confectionery sector.
• Preferably, have knowledge of Confectionery Merchandise / Ingredients and handling Confectionery storage operations and for receiving and managing delivery of Perishable Confectionery Merchandise from warehouse to food retail outlets.
• Knowledge of general food safety regulations and best practices for storage operations in the food industry.
• A personal interest in food ingredients and particularly of Confectionery merchandise.
• Project management and good communication skills.
• Strong team player, ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar warehouse management systems.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
