C & D Foods have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role will be based in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for working with a multi-skilled team providing excellent levels of service to both internal and external customers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Receipt and clearance of supplier receipts in a timely manner (same day)
Responding to queries in a timely manner
Taking responsibility and ownership of tasks

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

You should demonstrate a high level of initiative and flexibility, along with the ability to prioritise your workload. Ideally, you also possess the following:
Flexibility to work 12 hour shifts.
Counterbalance / Forklift License (Desirable)
Experience in TROPOS/WMS (Desirable)
Experience working in a Warehousing Environment
Good verbal and written communication capabilities
Ability to work under pressure and be able to work on your own initiative
Ability to meet deadlines and targets
Flexible in relation to working hours
‘Can-do, will do’ attitude

Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading of trailers into the Warehouse- Ambient and Cold Store.
Performing receipts of supplier deliveries into Inventory Management Systems.
Stock transactions/scanning of all stock movements
Supporting other areas within the Warehouse as and when required
Perform stock checks as and when required highlighting any stock variances
Servicing production and packing areas with raw materials and packaging
Supporting other departments across the company if/when required
Ad-hoc tasks
