As part of Cancer Research UK’s Retail & Ecommerce Growth Strategy, we are proud to have four distribution hubs and online marketplaces across the UK. Our aim is to reach an income of £96 million over the 10 years, directly contributing £53 million to Cancer Research UK’s life-saving research. As our trading operations expand, so does our marketplace and eCommerce presence. Sustainable and preloved fashion is on the rise, with the online resale market due to be worth $36bn by 2024 and bigger than fast fashion by 2029, at $64bn. Therefore, this is a key area for us and a real opportunity to bring in more money towards our mission.
We’re looking for a proactive Warehouse Assistant to support our drivers and c.80 Cancer Research UK shops and superstores. You will support by sorting and ticketing end-of-line and donated textile and fashion stock before dispatching them to our stores while ensuring to maximise their income value towards our life-saving mission. Our Team process 600 units (c. 110 bags of donated stock) per week. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the team working together to support all aspects of our mission, ensuring all stock processing and fulfilment is delivered effectively and efficiently as scheduled.
