We have an exciting opportunity at our Liverpool Supply Point for a Warehouse Operative x3 to join our team.

The role is an ideal opportunity for development towards a broader operations career :

  • involvement in strategy development
  • highly transversal role, working actively with most of the companies functions (ops, medical,…)
  • high exposure to hierarchy
  • extremely strong operations mentality

A successful candidate will have these duties and responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and managing deliveries to Goods In and shipments to Supply Units and Direct Customers from Liverpool, including the loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Inspection of goods, residue management, stock control and stock rotation to 99% accuracy using FEFO method
  • Pallet control (Chep / plastics / one way), including transfers from wood to plastic pallets between Low to Medium Care
  • Using Manbar/Tekdan picking Transactions
  • Using MES for high care transactions
  • Keeping the area clean and tidy including waste management control, through compliance with Damaway and 5S principles and completing Quality audits
  • Controlling the Goods Out area i.e.: controlling the air lock between medium care and low care
  • Kanban stock control system on non stockable items
  • Start/raise investigations through safety tags/engineering tags/Clio system
  • Be part of key warehouse improvement methods and tools (AM, D-GMP, FIT)

About you

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Trained and licensed to use MHE’s including, FLT, PPT.
  • Knowledge & significant experience of the field.
  • Experience of working with ISO 14001
  • Experience of using the Manbar / Tekdan / SAP systems and PI checks.
  • Know and understands the WAREHOUSE processes and is aware of related Dan Go (objectives, main steps, tools, organization & interfaces)
  • Fluent in English.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office, Basic Math skills
  • Is able to use the relevant enabling technologies
  • A strong awareness of health and safety including Manual Handling, STOP
  • Ability to perform in a high performance team in a changing and complex environment.
  • Commitment to delivery of customer service – internal and external
  • Capable of working on multiple priorities within tight deadlines

  • Understand the impact of his/her activity on the supply chain and Manufacturing and is aware of the main improvement levers of the SC processes
  • Knowledge of high care transactions
  • Ability to understand pre-dispensing area and liase with dispensing team
  • Ability to control and put away raw materials, Bulk and Packaging in a safe manner
