Description:
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for ensuring that movement and handling of customers goods on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- To carry out warehouse duties within timeframes stated by company.
- To carry out all special instructions as noted on receipt of goods or instructions from customer services.
- To ensure all documentation is completed as per requirements.
- To provide a professional and effective service to the customer.
- Complying with local legislative requirements & company Policies and procedures.
- To comply with all aspects of Health & Safety.
- Requirement to undertake screening responsibilities for selected candidates.
- Loading and unloading trucks and sea containers.
- Scanning of freight into and out of the warehouse.
Person Specification:
- FLT Counter balance / reach truck licence (Desirable)
- ADR / Hazardous awareness (Desirable)
- Good timekeeping
- To be fit and healthy
- Warehouse Experience
- CRB Requirement
